Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
today my gorgeous little Gift Box was made using the Tropical Chic Stamp Set and matching Tropical Thinlits Dies reminding me of holidays abroad. I love this Bundle, it is so versatile and I have made some beautiful projects with it over the past week or so and will be sharing all of them with you over the coming couple of weeks.
I used a piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock for the base of my Box and hand stamped it using one of the leaf designs from the Stamp Set using the same Calypso Coral Ink.
Once my card was scored and burnished and put together I made the Lid in the same colour, adding pieces of the Tropical Escape Designer Paper. The sentiment was stamped on a piece of Whisper White using Black Stazon Ink which also comes from this same set.
I decorated it using a piece of the pretty and lacy Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon tied in a bow. I found this very easy to tie. As you can see the lid was also decorated with hand stamped and die cut leaves and a small Bougainvillea flower.
I filled my Box with sweeties, but I could easily have added jewellery or holiday toiletries. I love the tropical colours too.
