Hi Stampers,
today’s video tutorial is a fun fold card. These are fun to create as they fold flat to gift in an envelope and post easy through the mail box.
To make this fun fold I used the Magnolia Lane Stamp Set with matching dies. I stamped my Magnolia image using Black Stazon onto Shimmery White Card, left it to dry for a few minutes and then used a selection of my Stampin’ Blends to colour them in.
I made three different colour ways and am so excited to share them with you. I used Melon Mambo card stock and layered black as the first layer, then a piece of Lovely Lipstick foiled card on the top. My second colour choice was Grapefruit Grove, black and a piece of Grapefruit Grove foiled card and my third colour choice was So Saffron, black and a piece of Gold foiled card. So pretty! I placed all of my foiled card pieces in the Tufted Impressions Embossing Folder to get that wonderful diamond effect, which looks like a cushion. So beautiful.
There are such a lot of lovely images in this stamp set and it comes in two cases, mainly due to the fact that the Magnolia image is HUGE! You can see how I put my card together in the attached video.
I used my Stampin’ Blends to colour the White Polka Dot ribbon to match up with my colour ways. I hope you enjoy watching the video as much as I enjoyed creating this project. It is of course, an Easel Fold Card, one of my favourite card styles.
