Hand stamped paper to make treat box

Hi Stampers,

I made these very pretty Treat Boxes with ribbon pull back in 2016.  At the time I was into stamping my own designer papers using Stampin’ Up ink and products.  However, as you will see in the video below I wanted to make my treat box big enough to hold three Ferrero Rocher chocolates, or indeed they would also be great for those lovely red Lindt chocolates too.  Great idea to gift jewellery in as well and so sweet with a pull out ribbon drawer tab.

I choose to gold heat emboss a design onto the card stock and heat set it with the Stampin’ Up heat tool.  Once it had set and cooled I then chose my Stampin’ Up ink pads and a Stamp Set, which could be any stamp set you have in your crafting stash.

The best idea is to stamp a whole sheet of A4 card stock and then cut it up to make boxes or cards once you have your design completed.  It is extremely addictive and once you have stamped one sheet you are certain to want to create more designs with different colours of ink and stamp sets.  I find it very therapeutic.

I have left the measurements to make this gift box at the bottom of this blog so you can have a go at making it yourself.
