Absolutely Gorgeous Explosion Birthday Card

Hi my Stampin’ Friends,

I first saw this wonderful Explosion Birthday Card on Pinterest.  I did find it difficult to make as I couldn’t find any video to watch, but after many attempts and a few that landed in the bin I had finally mastered it and absolutely loved it.  It is certainly not difficult at all and once I had made one I made a few more for family and friends birthdays throughout the year.

The gorgeous photo of my first one made its way to a colleague at work.  She was overwhelmed by its uniqueness and said it was the best card she had ever received.  IT is proudly displayed in the office for all to see.  Praise indeed for me.

The stamp set I used is called “Beautiful Day” and it is one of my absolute favourites.  I LOVE BUTTERFLIES, and have a real “fettish” for them with their beautiful silk wings.

I used Black Memento Ink to stamp my butterfly on Shimmery White Cardstock, which is perfect for me to use my Stampin’ Blends to colour in the detail.  So, so gorgeous.  I fussy cut it out and used a couple of Stampin’ dimensionals to float it on the front of the card.  This was one card that I found hard to part with!!  Have you ever felt like that over a card you have made?

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today and should you need any crafting supplies I would love to be your chosen Demonstrator.
