Daisy Lane meets the SCRIPTY Embossing Folder

Hi my Stampin’ Friends,

today I have the most beautiful card for you.  The new Daisy Lane Stamp Set has some amazing stamps.  It also co-ordinates with two punches, a medium Daisy Punch and the larger Daisy Punch which was released last year, both of which are in the new 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up Annual Catalogue.

This card resembles a card that was made recently by Susan Levasseur of Wow Nola Creations, you may have already seen her video on YouTube.  However, my card is similar but slightly different, as of course, I wanted to make it my own.  I used the Daisy Lane Stamp Set and both matching punches to create the wonderful flower in the bottom left hand corner of the card.

The card base is Petal Pink and the layers Mossy Meadow and Very Vanilla.  Very Vanilla is a cardstock that I don’t use very often, but really should, as it definitely creates a more softer look to a card.

To make the card I started off by using the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Stamp Set and stamped the daisy images in Petal Pink ink near to the top of the card.  Then I stamped another daisy onto a scrap piece of paper so that I could use it as a mask.  Then I used the image that is a stem and stamped that in Mossy Meadow ink.  To finish off the design I stamped the beautiful fern leaf a couple of times using Old Olive ink along with stamping the wispy image also in Old Olive ink.

Once all of my images were stamped I then placed the stamped card into my Stampin’ Up! SCRIPTY Embossing Folder.  Oh my, this is such a wonderful embossing folder.  It creates the most gorgeous pattern all of the stamped images which look “very vintage” in style.  Using some sponge daubers by Stampin’ Up I sponged the edges of the card in Old Olive and Petal Pink for a beautifully finished look.

I stamped the larger daisy images onto Very Vanilla Cardstock using Petal Pink ink and stamped a centre using Early Espresso ink to make the centre of the flower “pop”!  Don’t you just love it.  Its easy to punch out the daisies using the two different sizes of punch, along with making some leaves using the leaf punch and some Pear Pizzazz Card stock.

The butterfly was punched out using the Butterfly Duet punch and a piece of the butterfly paper from the FREE Designer Papers from Sale-a-Bration earlier this year.

The two daisies layer up on top of each other and have such a pretty dimension, with the leaves tucked underneath them.  An extremely pretty card and all of these Stampin’ Up! products are available to purchase in my online shop located at the top right hand corner (the BIG RED BUTTON).
