Pretty Gift Box wrapped in Floral Vellum

Hi my Stampin’ Friends,

today’s project has been made using the Stampin’ Up! Floral Romance Bundle of products featured in the Spring and Summer Catalogue. The gift box holds 6 Elderberry and Fig Tea lights which have the most wonderful fragrance. I love lighting tea lights all year round as they fill the room with a wonderful perfume that gives the room a relaxing feel.

My box is extremely easy to make and uses only half a sheet of A4 card stock. I have used Rich Razzleberry/Petal Pink card stock which goes well with the Wonderful Romance Speciality Designer Papers, which include 6 sheets of floral vellum. These really are extremely beautiful. I have used a piece of this vellum to wrap my box.

I die cut some leaves and flower buds using the Floral Romance dies. To do this I used Old Olive, Lemon Lime Twist, Petal Pink and Rich Razzleberry card stock to achieve some elegant tones to the finished design. These colours are also in the Vellum so a perfect match. I then added one of the Floral Romance Seals to add that extra special touch that makes this box look “oh so classy”! Don’t you think?

The sentiment which I have stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card using Rich Razzleberry Ink was punched out using the classic label punch. I then re-inserted it back into the punch and punched off a little bit more to make a small label. Such a clever idea. That way I get more from my punches and this makes me happy.

I am a little disappointed that the Floral Romance Bundle will not be featured in the new main Stampin’ Up Catalogue in June, so if you have this product on your “wish list” now is the time to buy it before it sells out.
