Lasting Lily (Free Sale-a-Bration product) Stampin’ Up!

Hi my Stampin’ Friends,

sadly we are now nearing the end of Stampin’ Up Sale-a-Bration and I have really enjoyed all the free products I have gained over the past 4 months as a Demonstrator. Sale-a-Bration begins at the beginning of January through to the end of March for customers). I can hardly believe that 3 months has gone so quickly!

Today I have made this beautiful Card using the Lasting Lily Stamp Set which can be chosen for free with a qualifying spend of £90 (100 US Dollars). This is such a wonderful stamp set as you can see through the photopolymer images for perfect stamping every time. I love the fine detail in this set, it really does look like an arum lily. Unfortunately my photo doesn’t do this card justice, as I felt the light was too strong at the top of the card so missing out on the lacy detailing of the vellum.

There are matching framelit dies that can be purchased to go with this set too, or maybe like me you don’t mind a bit of fussy cutting.

I used a piece of Thick Whisper White for my card base. The Designer Paper used on top of the base of my card comes from the Floral Romance Designer Pack and contain 6 sheets of 12 x 12 Designer Paper and 6 sheets of beautifully coloured VELLUM also measuring 12 x 12″. They really are very beautiful.

As my vellum is see through I used glue dots on the darker pink patches of my lacy vellum so they didn’t show through the vellum. I stamped my lily images using Powder Pink Ink.

You will notice that once stamped you get a darker edge to the stamp, this is the amazing detailing that this stamp set has which is called “Distinktive”. Yes I have spelt the word correctly as in the Stampin’ Up Sale-a-Bration Brochure. Of course, I would usually spell that word as “distinctive”, but perhaps this is just the word that they have used. However, they are indeed “Distinktive”. Even the leaves have veining on them. Below I have added a couple of photos from January 2019 post.

There Are 16 photopolymer stamps in this set with 10 sentiments included. It is well worth spending a little bit extra to choose this as a FREE Sale-a-Bration product. It has indeed been very popular with demonstrators and customers alike.

I used Granny Apple Green Ink to stamp the leaves so that I could use a piece of the co-ordinating 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon in Granny Apple Green. They compliment each other so well. I stamped my sentiment in Flirty Flamingo Ink as I thought that stood out a little bit more against the Powder Pink.

Oh yes, I forgot to mention that I coloured the stamens using my Light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend just to accentuate it.
