Petal Promenade Double Pouch Gift Bag with matching Cards

Hi Friends,

I recently saw a blog by a fellow Demonstrator, Gaynor, of Stamp with Joy where she made some beautiful double pouch Gift Bags. I had been trying to make a gift to send to my auntie and I thought that this was the perfect project for her. My auntie is quite elderly and is not able to go out much these days and these handmade cards will provide her with easy ways to send out greetings cards through the post when needed.

With a double pouch gift bag to hold them in, which I must say is completely stunning. I needed to use up some of my Petal Promenade Stampin’ Up Designer Papers before they retire at the end of May and the beautifully detailed floral patterns are ideal.

I was only going to make one set and one gift bag, but I got so carried away I ended up with FOUR sets of them! They are so, so gorgeous and I was definitely inspired!

The Gift Bag Pouch does use up a whole sheet of 12 x 12″ Designer Paper, but it is well worth it for the thick gift bag that you end up with. You could put any gifts inside this bag that you wanted to, as it does open out to about a 1 1/2″ depth. Overall the gift bag measures 5″ wide x 4 1/4″ high. (12.5 x 11 cm) The hand made cards measure about 5 1/4 by 4″ (13.5 x 10 cm) and the smaller ones 3 3/4 x 3 3/4″ (9.5 x 9.5 cm). I made about 7 cards to each pack.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today and should you need to purchase any Stampin’ Up products you can shop in my Online Shop, the link is in the side bar. I would so appreciate your business.

Happy Crafting WITH LOVE from SANDRA xx
