Butterfly Gala Paper clips – so handy!

Hi Friends,

one evening I was merrily punching out the beautiful butterflies that feature on the FREE Sale-a-Bration brochure from the Botanical Butterfly Designer Papers and remembered that not so long ago I had seen some beautifully decorated paper clips. Well, I am always clipping papers together at work and thought what a gorgeous way to to use them to brighten up the day.

So I got out my trusty glue gun and punched out some 3/4″ and 1″ circles and glued them onto the paper clips, punching out two of the 3/4″ ones and one of the scallop 1″ punch. I left them to dry for a few minutes to let the hot glue cool a little. Then I added my punched out butterflies on top, added some sparkly rhinestones and a little “Wink of Stella” (I love that stuff). Voila!!! I had some gorgeous little decorations. Children would love these too. Great little gift to give for Easter too. They were so quick to make too.

I am pleased to announce that I have made a video for you today. My first of the year as my parents have been extremely ill and I have had to look after them. They are getting a little better now so I am hoping that I will be able to get back to making new YouTube videos on a regular basis. Thank you for watching. xx

I decided to add them onto a piece of card, this would make gift giving just that bit more delightful and they look so much more beautifully presented.

I used my largest “Rectangle Stitched Frame” die (these are new in the Spring/Summer Catalogue for 2019).

I have left the measurements below this post should you wish to create some of your own.
