Handmade Gift Box for Gift Tags

Hi my Stampin’ Friends,

WordPress Gallery Plugin

my project video tutorial for you today features a superb Gift Box that I created to hold lots of handmade Gift Tags.  The Gift Tags were made using up lots of different bits and bobs of Stampin’ Up products that I had so I turned them into something beautiful.  I didn’t want them to become “dog eared” as you might remember from my blog last Friday 31st August.

It is a reinforced Box, including the lid and would hold water colour pencils, stampin’ blends, glue, scissors, jewellery, chocolates and sweeties, you could say just about anything!  It feels really good to get back to making videos again, as I have really missed communicating with you all.

The measurements have all been given in the attached video and maybe you will have a go at creating your very own Gift Box.  My “girlie” gift tags deserved a girlie box and I hand stamped the lid of the Box using a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, the Abstract Impressions Stamp Set and Rich Razzleberry, Tranquil Tide, Old Olive, Calypso Coral and So Saffron Inks.  The base of the box was made using Tranquil Tide Cardstock to blend in with my stamping on the lid.

The belly band was made using a 1″ x 12″ strip of left over card and I just love that sentiment, I really do!  I truly hope that my video will inspire you to create some gift tags today.

In today’s video I am making a Gift Box suitable to hold gift tags that I have made for “dudes” using Basic Black Cardstock for the base of the box and a piece of the Share What You Love Speciality DSP.  I have added some gold banding around the belly band with a gold “bow tie”.  I was rather pleased with my design.

However, if you would like to know how you can create your own hand stamped design then please see a video that I made a while ago showing you how easy it is to use any stamp set and coloured ink.
