Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
the Share What You Love Speciality Designer Series Papers are the BEST EVER that I have purchased. The colours and images are just perfect for my summer projects. As I have 24 sheets to use that measure 12 x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) it means that I can make endless projects with these. They are so thick that I am also making Boxes and Gift Bags with them too.
Today’s gorgeous Birthday Card uses WELL OBVIOUSLY these papers. They shouldn’t call them papers as they are far too thick quality for that! I had lots of pieces of scraps left over from other projects so used the Tailored Tag Punch to punch lots of pieces out. My photo really doesn’t do these gorgeous Designer Papers any justice!!
I glued them down onto a piece of Black Cardstock to create this pattern. I really do love it so much. The black really compliments the colours. I used half a sheet of A4 Cardstock for the card base and used Stampin’ dimensionals to adhere it onto the front of the card.
The sentiment was taken from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set and is heat embossed using White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. As is usual for me I added a piece of Whisper White Cardstock to the inside and stamped my sentiments and flowers using the same Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set. I am very chuffed with this card and really don’t want to give it away, but of course, I must NOT HOARD IT!!! Have you ever felt like this over a handmade card?
