Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
Oh I really do love the Cross of Hope Framelits Dies and can’t stop making projects with them. I love all the different style of Crosses that come with this set of dies, plain, embossed, lacy and small. Such a lot of choice to make different projects. So again today I bring them out to create my gorgeous Keepsake Bookmarks and the added bonus is that they are magnetic, which means they will stay in your pages without falling out!! Genius idea, if I do say so myself! They are easy to make too and don’t take many crafting supplies. You can make 4 of them from one sheet of A4 Cardstock, so saving money too.
Anyway, I made them with Marina Mist and Powder Pink Cardstock and added a very small piece of the utterly gorgeous Sweet Soiree Speciality Designer Paper on the front before adding my different selection of Easter Crosses. The design is folded over so they are good and sturdy and the magnetic closure is hidden under the flaps of cardstock on each side, so they won’t fall off.
I used my 1/8″ punch to punch two holes at the top of each bookmark and threaded some ribbon through tying it off as shown in my attached video. Fabulous for using up those little offcuts of ribbon you have at the end of each roll. What wonderful Easter gifts these would make and totally different to just giving chocolate.
