Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
today’s project is a very masculine card suitable for any male family member, especially if they love everything nautical. It has been made with the Sailing Home Stamp Set and Smooth Sailing Dies. These can be purchased as a bundle called the Sailing Home Bundle (where there is a 10% saving). This bundle is listed on Page 145 of the main Stampin’ Up! Catalogue.
I have used a piece of the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper as one of the layers on the card. Using THICK A4 Whisper White Card layered with Night of Navy card stock and the DSP. I stamped a circle and cut out the middle to create the “lifebuoy”, adding some Night of Navy twine. The sail boat was stamped using the small boat image from the stamp set and Night of Navy Ink. I also stamped and die cut the anchor, seaweed, compass and sentiment using all the matching die cuts from the die set.
The birds were stamped using Smoky Slate Ink. A great card for the men in our lives.
