Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
today’s Christmas Cards use the Brightly Gleaming Bundle along with the Heirloom Frames and Embossing Folders. In the Heirloom Frames you get two frames and two embossing folders, one of which is rectangle and the other oval. These are really very pretty and I love the copper embossed one that are on my cards today. What very POSH cards these are. I love these products, just superb.
The copper embossed oval frame matches with the copper foiling on the Brightly Gleaming Designer Papers. I used the new Delicata Celestial Copper pigment ink to stamp one of the baubles. The holly leaves were stamped using Mossy Meadow Ink and then fussy cut and coloured with my Stampin’ Blends.
My ribbon bow was created using the new 1/2″ classic weave ribbon on page 31 of the Autumn/Winter Catalogue and I love the “Merry Christmas” words that have been printed in copper. Stampin’ Up! have thought of everything when it comes to co-ordinating this suite of products on Page 31.
My card base uses Real Red card stock, which is just half a sheet of A4 card stock. I have layered it using a piece of Very Vanilla cut at 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″ and then the Designer Paper cut at 5 1/2″ x 3 3/4″.
My second card uses Night of Navy for the Card base which is the usual half a sheet of A4 cardstock cut at 5 7/8″ x 8 1/4″ and scored on the long side at 4 1/8″. This has then been layered with Very Vanilla cut at 5 5/8″ x 3 7/8″. The Designer Paper is 5 1/2 x 3 3/4″. I used a piece of the Copper Foil Paper to cut my rectangle and placed it through the Big Shot using the Heirloom Frame Embossing Folder. Such a pretty pattern which looks quite stunning.
To stamp my sentiment I used a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock cut at 3 3/4 x 2 3/4″ so I could layer it behind the copper foiled embossing piece. I stamped the holly from the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set
