Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
today’s card uses the very vintage looking Stamp Set called Very Versailles. There are beautiful images in this set that help to create that “very vintage” look. I used a thick piece of Whisper White Cardstock for the card base and layers of Bermuda Bay and Whisper White to stamp the images. I first of all stamped the script using Bermuda Bay all the way down from top to bottom of the whisper white card. Then used Garden Green ink to stamp the long flowing leaf images.
I gold heat embossed the “fence type” image using Stampin’ Up gold embossing powder and set it with the heat tool. I also gold heat embossed the image in the centre of the card and layered two strips of ribbon, one in Pool Party and the other in Bermuda Bay. The sentiment was also gold heat embossed and I flagged both ends.
I used the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set for the small butterflies stamping them in Black Memento Ink and then using the photopolymer images to overlay colours in Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay.
I also made a similar design on this card as part of my customer thank you for the month of July and stamped it in Balmy Blue, Blueberry Bushel and Garden Green, layering my sentiment onto a piece of Whisper White punched out using the 1 1/4″ circle punch and 1 3/8″ scalloped punch. A pretty card no matter what colour palette you use.
As usual I always stamp the inside of the card as well for that perfect finishing touch. Such an amazing Stamp Set. I love it.
