Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
today I have two different cards using the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set (which comes in two Stamp Cases) as that magnolia is a very large stamp.
The first card has been placed on a card base of Petal Pink and layered with Calypso Coral and a piece of wood designer paper. I die cut one of the rectangle stitched shapes dies in Petal Pink and placed a couple of pieces of washi tape at the top and bottom.
I used a piece of Petal Pink Vellum from the Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock and stamped the large magnolia image with Versamark and White Embossing Powder which I heat set with the Stampin’ Up heat tool. My Stampin’ Blends were the perfect medium to colour the flower and I used Calypso Coral and Old Olive. The design was completed with one of the Floral Romance Seals and a couple of gold faceted gems.
The second card uses a piece of Basic Black card stock for the base layered with Petal Pink and a piece of the Magnolia Designer Papers which are truly beautiful and I find my favourites are those with the black background on. I just find that I love the Petal Pink as the black makes it stand out on the card.
I have die cut one of the fancy edging pieces from the Magnolia Lane dies layered with a piece of Petal Pink Organza Ribbon.
I stamped my magnolia bud images using Whisper White card and Black Memento ink. I used my Petal Pink light and dark Stampin’ Blends along with the Mossy Meadow light and dark to colour them in. There is also a die cut to cut them out using the Big Shot. I added a few leaves to the design and made a cute little bow from the Petal Pink Organza Ribbon.
