Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
Here is a very quick and easy card today which uses the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. It couldn’t be much easier and great card for beginners.
My card base is Calypso Coral, layered with a piece of the Bird Ballad DSP. A 1″ (2.5 cm) strip of Bermuda Bay card is layered across the middle.
I cut a piece of the Perennial Essence Vellum in Petal Pink using one of the Stitched Nested Label Dies. Layered that with the sentiment taken from the Beautiful Day Stamp Set which I stamped using Calypso Coral Ink. Cut one of the ends into a banner and placed that centrally on the card.
You might remember from my Bird Ballad Gift Box that I posted this Tuesday that I had a couple of stamped flowers left over. I used these to decorate my card and added some pretty Rhinestone Jewels in the centres of each. I am rather pleased with how quick and easy it was to make and there are so many different designer papers in the Bird Ballad set that I could easily make so many different cards.
You can make 6 cards from one piece of 12 x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) and as there are 12 sheets in the pack that is 72 cards that could be made from one pack. Genius!
