Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
today I made these adorable note cards using some of the Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Papers by Stampin’ Up! These are so easy to glue down to some card and give my note cards ‘style’ and panache!! They have such beautiful detailing on them and each one is different. I like that there are different styles included in this pack.
One side of these papers is white and the other very vanilla so I chose to use the Very Vanilla side and cut myself a piece of Very Vanilla (Stampin’ Up) card stock and glued each piece down using my sponge, liquid glue and silicone craft sheet technique. I have showed this technique before in lots of my videos and it is a really easy way to glue down delicate designs without spreading glue everywhere. The silicone craft sheet (Stampin’ Up product) is very easy to clean off using wet wipes and then it is ready to use again for the next time you need to use it.
I chose the Pop of Petals Stamp Set to decorate as there are so many flower images in this set and they all look so pretty when stamped onto a piece of Whisper White card stock and coloured ink of my choice. They are perfect for spring and summer projects.
I have used Berry Burst and Poppy Parade Card stock for my card bases. This is just a half sheet of A4 card stock that I have cut and scored in half. The delightfully detailed laser cut sheets measure approximately 5 x 3 1/2″ and I layered them onto a piece of Very Vanilla (Stampin Up!) card stock that measured 5 1/8″ x 3 5/8″ so there was a neat little border around the edge.
I stamped my flowers using a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock cutting out stamping out two or three petals using Berry Burst or Poppy Parade ink and then layered them around each other with some stamped leaves. I used the Petal Punch which co-ordinates with the Pop of Petals Stamp Set to punch out the flowers, easy peasy. I used some different Stampin’ Up Stamp Sets for my sentiments. I am really chuffed with the way these note cards turned out. Perfect for any occasion.
