Hi Friends,
I have been experimenting with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder to make this beautiful card which measures 6 x 6″ (15 x 15 cm). It truly was so simple for me as I cut a piece of Coastal Cabana Card at 5 3/4″ x 5 3/4″ (14.5 x 14.5 cm) and placed it inside the Tin Tile Embossing Folder and run through the Big Shot machine. The Card Base used Coastal Cabana which was cut at 12 x 6″ (30 x 15 cm) and scored on the long side at 6″ (15 cm).
I then used Versamark which I rubbed on and then coated in Gold Embossing Powder. I heat set with the heat embossing tool (which is similar to a hair dryer!) Once dry it gave more depth of vision to this folder which was a start for the design of the card.
As I had spent £45 on paper crafting materials during Sale-a-Bration (3rd January to the end of March 2019) I chose the By the Bay Cling Stamp Set as my FREEBIE.
Using a couple of dies from the BRAND NEW and oh so exciting to use, as they have stitching on them too, the Rectangle Framelits dies (which we have been asking Stampin’ Up! to sell for AGES and AGES!). I stamped the larger image using Soft Suede Ink and used my Stampin’ Blends to do a bit of colouring. I found this very therapeutic and relaxing.
I was so pleased with the finished design that I made a matching gift tag, as this card has been “earmarked” for a family member’s birthday very soon. I do hope you enjoyed this design today and I would be grateful if you could subscribe to my blog so you can see more of my designs to come.
