I hope you are all feeling well today and looking forward to Christmas.
My handmade card today uses the Stamp Set called Half Full. I love all the sentiments as well as the wine bottle and wine glass elements. There are also some fun christmas sentiments and images too, making it a perfect set to use all year round, especially for people who love to enjoy a tipple or two every now and again!
So it was really apt that I should use Stampin’ Up cardstock called Merry Merlot for the card base, I mean it was meant for it, wasn’t it? This really makes me smile.
I used a piece of Stampin’ Up Shimmer Card which is perfect for colouring with my markers. I stamped the images using my Black Memento Ink and after leaving them to dry for a few minutes I used my Stampin’ Up! Blender Pens to colour them in. So that my images didn’t look like they were floating in mid air, so to speak, I added a small piece of Merry Merlot Cardstock across the bottom of them, which was in fact a small piece of card I had cut off a few minutes earlier, so this made good use of it, instead of it ending up in the bin.
To colour in the bottle top I couldn’t resist using my NEW Stampin’ Up! Shimmer Paint in Champagne. I really felt that this added a wonderful touch. To finish the design I flicked some of the shimmer paint onto my card for added sparkle!!
The sentiment was die cut using Stampin’ Up Stitched Shapes thinlits dies and I layered it up with some dimensionals. Of course, I also finished it off on the inside by adding a piece of Whisper White card and stamped a sentiment and wine glass image. So cool and I don’t know why but this Stamp Set makes me squeal with delight!

Measurements
Half a Sheet of A4 cardstock measuring 11 1/2″ x 4 1/8″ (28 x 11.5 cm)
scored at 5 3/4″ (14 cm) and folded in half.
Shimmery White Cardstock cut at 5 1/2″ x 3 7/8″ (13 x 5.5 cm)
Stamp your images from the Half Full Stamp Set and then use your Cherry Cobbler light and dark markers to colour the wine bottle and glasses.
Shake a pot of Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint and open lid. Use a small paint brush dipped into the LID ONLY and paint onto the top of the wine bottle, this will then resemble the beautiful cover that they place over a wine bottle.
This paint has the most wonderful shimmery quality and really adds a SPECIAL TOUCH. I love this Shimmer Paint.
(I glued the small strip that I cut off the bottom of the A4 sheet and glued it down so my bottle and wine glasses had a shelf to sit upon!)
The sentiment was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and die cut using the layering ovals framelits dies.
Whisper White Cardstock cut at 5 1/2 x 3 3/4″ (13 x 5 cm) for the inside of the card.
Add a sentiment and wine glasses at the bottom to finish.
