Hi my Stampin’ Friends,
today I would love to share with you how I got on at the recent Stampin’ Up! Onstage Event April 2018 that I had the pleasure of attending just over three weeks ago. There were 500 demonstrators attending and it was wonderful to see so many like-minded crafters to share the day with.
When we all arrived at the Telford International Centre in Shropshire on Saturday, 7th April 2018 we received our name badge, together with a fabulous Shopping Bag that is reversible, so you can team it up with your outfit for when you go out shopping. Along with that, we also received a free Stamp Set, some pens, an A5 notebook and a numbered Prize Patrol Badge. During the day we also receive two more Stamp Sets and at the end of the day share the Box of Crafting Products that are put out on the middle of all our tables to use for our crafting projects.
We sit on tables of 8 so there is plenty of room to craft and chat. At this event we watch videos throughout the day show casing all the great new products that will be coming in the new Annual Catalogue, and we also receive a new copy of the Annual Catalogue. Its so exciting to see the new products coming our way, as well as those products that were last year’s favourites and still remain. This year the tables were decorated with sparkly vases of handmade die cut Butterflies. The table was laid out beautifully.
All demonstrators love to make swaps at home before the event and it is amazing the amount of inspiration that you receive. It is just so exciting for me to meet and chat and make new friends.
In my attached video you will see the products that I was given throughout the day, as well as the gorgeous paper crafting projects that we made too! I thoroughly enjoyed myself. There is also a lunch given out at mid-day. Places for this event go very quickly and I was so pleased to register on time so I could attend the event. This event does have a cost of £70, as it is not free to attend, but it is well worth it, as you receive lots of products and your lunch is also included. I just love being an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator. Here are a few photos of the projects that I made during the day.
The Stampin’ Up motto from the heart is “To LOVE what we DO and SHARE what WE LOVE, as we HELP OTHERS enjoy CREATIVITY and WORTHWHILE accomplishments …. in this we make a DIFFERENCE. I love this sentiment, as when we watch others being creative and see the pleasure that it gives them, it inspires our own creativity and in turn we also help others see the difference it makes in our lives and can also make to theirs.
